VIVIAN L. KRAL has recently been named President-Elect of California Women Lawyers, the largest Women’s Bar Association in the world. Her election marks the first time this honor has come to San Mateo County and is the culmination of many efforts on behalf of women, children and families. She previously received that California Women Lawyers President’s Award for passion and commitment to the organization’s goals of promoting the advancement of women in the legal profession and in society. She is also the vice president of Planned Parenthood Association of San Mateo County, president of the county chapter of the National Women’s Political Caucus, and a member of the County Bar Association Board of Directors. She is a practicing attorney in the county, a lecturer and a speaker on legal ethics and family law, and teaches oral advocacy at the Hastings College of Oral Advocacy.
