Clara Brossell Crook

CLARA BROSSELL CROOK in the 11 years since her retirement and move to California, has been a leader in the senior community. She chairs the San Mateo County Commission on Aging, the Forum and is moderator of the successful monthly series. She was chair of the Burlingame Civil Service Commission, and is currently Vice Chair of the Senior Citizen Advisory Committee to the San Mateo County Community College District. She was a university administrator/lecturer, and a director of personnel for a 7 plant industry. She wrote a weekly column for a San Francisco newspaper, and is a talk show host KSOL. As a consultant in California, she developed a lecture series for a local Savings & Loan, for retirement chair, and worked for a number of years for the Federal Government as a retirement planner. She has received a number of recognitions, is a popular speaker and is identified as a leader in the concepts of self-sufficiency, self-esteem, and taking charge.
