Sharon Alexander Williams

SHARON ALEXANDER WILLIAMS of Burlingame, is best known for her leadership and revitalization of OICW (Opportunities Industrialization Center West, Inc.), a job skills training program located in Menlo Park. Her creativity and determination have produced programs which effectively respond to people with diverse needs and background, linking the economically disadvantaged with local corporate and business opportunities. She has put her energy into a variety of community causes and organization, including Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, where serves as a board member, the Consortium for Young Women, where she is founding member the GAIN Advisory Board, Sequoia Adult School Advisory Committee, and the East Palo Alto Task Force on Employment and training. She serves on the Board of the Palo Alto Bayshore Rotary Club.
