Sally Livingston

Deceased
Much of Sally Livingston’S life was devoted to helping women make advancements in all aspects of their personal and professional lives. As a role model, she demonstrated that internal and external obstacles could be overcome. She lobbied for the establishment of a Commission on the Status of Women. Although not successful in that effort, she helped lay the groundwork for the current Advisory Council on Women. As president of Women Entrepreneurs, she built the organization into a highly professional and well managed organization. Chairing the Regional Conference for Women Business Owners, sponsored by the Small Business Administration, she persuaded the group to form a nonprofit organization. Sally Livingston also played a role in funding MAINSTREAM PLANNING ASSOCIATES, a consulting and training firm designed for women.
