Nina Luo

Nina Luo of Millbrae attends San Mateo Middle College at the College of San Mateo while enrolled as a junior at Mills High School. When she is not in school, she spends significant time working for the betterment of the community while demonstrating a maturity and charitable spirit that far surpasses her age. During her freshman year of high school, she interned with the Office of Assemblywoman Fiona Ma, where she wrote, edited, and organized the monthly newsletter. She is presently interning with Sunset Youth Services, where she writes grant requests to fund programs that offer work experience to young people. She is also a peer counselor for StarVista, where she is engaged in youth suicide prevention. While at Mills High School, she wrote for the school newspaper, debated in Model UN, ran cross-country, and led the Christian Club while maintaining a high grade point average. She is an exceptional young woman who goes above and beyond in order to improve the lives of others.
