Tiffany Chu

TIFFANY CHU has no limits to her volunteerism. She goes above and beyond her commitment to make changes in her school, community and society at large. For her work with the American Red Cross, Tiffany won the “rookie of the Year” award for outstanding volunteerism in 1998, and the Youth Leadership Award for exceptional leadership skills and quality volunteerism in 2001. Through her continuing volunteer work with Voices Against Violence, Tiffany has developed her leadership and facilitation skills and was elected as the Bay Area Representative to California Coalition for Youth. Maintaining excellent grades, Tiffany is a member of the California Scholarship Federation. She also plays on both varsity tennis and basketball teams and is an active member of the Pacific Asian Club and the Junior State of America. She was a founding member of Unity 2000, organized to bridge the gap between a diverse group of youth to create a trusting community and to end violence. Tiffany serves on the Jefferson Union High School Board of Trustees as a Student Trustee and speaks to groups as a Youth Asset Team member. And she still finds the time to serve as an intern for the offices of Senator Dianne Feinstein.
