Harriet Hills Stinson

HARRIETT HILLS STINSON is a founding member and past president of the Planned Parenthood Association of San Mateo County and has worked for 20 years on behalf of this organization. She is recognized as one of the first women to provide family planning counseling for women in county jails. She founded California Republicans for Choice and continues to devote major energies towards influencing legislators to support programs in family planning, reproductive health care and reproductive choice. She has produced many newsletters and publications, including “Let’s Give Teens a Chance: Why Republicans Should Support School-Based Comprehensive Health Clinics.” Her many awards include citations from the Soroptomists Club Burlingame, the Children by Choice Coalition, and The World’s Who’s Who of Women.
