At the Ronald McDonald House in Stanford, Patti serves as house manager, often spending entire weekends at the House, and is frequently on call when there are emergencies involving children and their families. She organizes special family dinners sponsored by her church. At Elmwood Correctional Center for Women in Milpitas, Patti serves as a mentor to women being released, assisting them with their transition back into society. On the streets she ministers to the homeless, drug-addicted, mentally ill and alcoholics. Patti coordinates a homeless feeding/clothing/toiletry distribution program also sponsored by her church. Patti’s daughter is following her mother’s footsteps by dedicating her life to working with the homeless and mentally ill. Patti lives a quiet and unassuming life doing what she loves most- giving to others.
