Elizabeth Carole McKenna

ELIZABETH CAROLE MCKENNA was described by a teacher as “one (a student) who comes along rarely in one’s career.” Not only is Elizabeth an A student, but she is also an artist, dancer, an ‘old soul,’ and a genuinely warm and wonderful person who is distinguished from her peers by her tireless drive. Elizabeth is President of Hillsdale High School’s Best Buddies chapter, an international organization that provides students with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to develop one-on-one friendships with other students. She is a member of the Service Commission and Interact Club, spending two hours a week doing volunteer work. Elizabeth is Head Instructor of a ballet class for children ages 3-7 at the Pacific Athletic Club. She is a lead trial attorney for Hillsdale’s Mock Trial team, helping bring her team to the 2002 California State Finals where they placed second. She is an accomplished actress, often playing principal roles in Hillsdale’s drama productions. She is an active member of student government, an avid soccer player, talented dancer, writer for the school newspaper and has been taking piano since the 5th grade. Elizabeth has won numerous awards for her academic and volunteer activities during her high school career. She brings intelligence, compassion, artistry and devotion to absolutely everything she does. Her accomplishments leave one breathless.
