SHIRLEY MOORE is the founder and currently the Endowment Director for Project REACH, an organization dedicated to the belief that children with disabilities, is the only program of its kind in Northern California. In 1982, she received the Peninsula Community Foundation “Outstanding Service to the Community: award, which included a $10,000 gift to her organization. In 1992, after 10 years as Executive Director, she left that post to develop a $500,000 endowment fund. She has reached more than half that goal already, and funds are being invested through the peninsula Community Foundation.
