PATRICIA BRESEE was named Superior Court Commissioner for San Mateo County and assigned to the Juvenile Court in 1987. For the past ten years, she has been on of a small panel of attorneys selected to represent minors who come before Juvenile Court because of neglect or abuse. She is past chair of the San Mateo County Child Abuse Committee and is currently a member of the California State Bar, the Family and Child Abuse Services Advisory Committee to the Board of Supervisors, the Juvenile Law Committee of the California Judges Association, the Ad Hoc Committee on Minority Issues of the National Association of Women Judges, and a former member of the California State Bar Committee on Adoptions. She is advisor to county Juvenile Justice Commission and, in 1987, received the San Mateo County Children’s Services Award.
