CHARLOTTE IRVINE has help leadership positions with the League of Women Voters on local, state and national levels. She was chair of the San Mateo County Charter Review Committee which completed a total revision of the County Charter adopted by voters in 1978 and was a member of the California Constitution Revision Commission whose work resulted in major revision of the State Constitution. Professionally she has worked as an editor, at SRI, a research assistant at Stanford and UC Berkeley and was associate director of Stanford’s Upward Bound, a program for East Palo Alto High School students under the Office of Equal Opportunity. She has also worked with the Service League, a program for incarcerated persons and their families.
