Amani Shroff is a senior at Carlmont High School and chair of the San Mateo County Youth Commission, where she has represented more than 90,000 youth for the past three years. Her work has focused on civic engagement, youth leadership and voter education. Shroff serves as a youth liaison to the San Mateo County Commission on the Status of Women and has led school-based initiatives promoting empathy and mental health awareness. She is a published poet focused on social justice and plans to attend Stanford University.
