Frances Kentor Jamieson

FRANCES KENTOR JAMIESON, THE 1992 President of the San Mateo County Senior Forum, has an achievement record which includes 43 years in education services in northern California, 30 years in private practice as a licensed psychologist, and 20 years as an ordained minister. Major accomplishments include development of work experience and training programs for mentally neurologically handicapped children assistance to emotionally disturbed children and their families; and help for seniors dealing with Social Security benefits, health insurance, respite care, and shopping. She has received Senate and Assembly recognition for her contributions in the field of education. Since her retirement in 1985, she has worked with many senior advocacy projects and has served as an assistant state director for the American Association of Retired Persons. She is incoming chair of the Senior Advisory council of San Bruno and a member of RSVP (the Retired Senior Volunteer Program).
